Everyone learns differently, and different habits help people in different ways, however, there are some key routines to practice that will give you the opportunity to put your best foot forward when it comes to your learning.

1️⃣ Get your zzz's

We can’t stress this enough. Poor sleep changes everything, including productivity, memory, and learning. When you sleep your brain is consolidating your learnings and helping you retain information that you have come across in the day.

2️⃣ Nutritious food will help!

Sustaining productivity throughout the day means feeding your body (and brain) nutritious food. Research suggests that a varied diet, especially with diverse plant-based fare, is very important.

3️⃣ Daily Revision

Revision is important for two reasons. Firstly, it helps you to remember facts, figures, topics, and methodologies that you have covered. Secondly, it will help increase your confidence and reduce anxiety around fleeting thoughts.

4️⃣ Translate into your own words

You will gain a deeper understanding of what you are learning about if when you note-take you translate the ideas into your own words. By just copy and pasting the exact sentences you will not retain the information as well as if you interpret translate and then develop your own insight.

We highly recommend you try these easy steps out and see how your learning improves!
