A cluster is a collection of sparks that encapsulates an overall theme, mentality, lifestyle, or behaviour; they help you to visualise something greater than a single spark allows.

For example:

  • You may have a cluster for 'successful thinking' comprising of sparks that develop a mentality for success.

  • Alternatively, a 'sustainable living' cluster could contain information on how to live in a more sustainable way, decreasing your waste and personal impact on the environment.

❗️ Your cluster summaries are a great way to consolidate your learning and grow your knowledge further. So it's really helpful to keep them up to date as new sparks are added to clusters.

Here's a tip when creating clusters...

Ideally use verbs over nouns in cluster titles - this captures a personalised lifestyle/mindset/behaviour rather than a box of neutral facts

  • EG: two clusters 'adaptability' and 'original thinking' can become 'successful thinking': a cluster that captures a mindset and lifestyle that leads to progress, innovation, and success.

  • EG: changing 'Leadership - Startups' and 'Leadership - Collaborative Leadership' to 'Leading in Startups' and 'Leading Collaboratively' feel more like an action an d a goal to keep you growing.
