Welcome to Sparks! Here's 3 things to get you started...
1️⃣ Create your first spark!
Just hit the 'Add a new spark' button in the web app at my.sparksapp.io, you can create a spark that is associated with a particular source (like a recent article you read) or you can make a quick spark; a stand-alone note, insight, or thought with no particular context.
2️⃣ Get the Sparks browser extension to add sparks as you browse
Next up, make your sparking on your computer seamless with our browser extension. It will give you the ability to spark from anything you read, watch, and listen to on the web. We have both a Safari and Chrome extension that you can download.
Please see more on the step-by-step process here.
3️⃣ Setup your smartphone for Sparks
We recommend that you set up your smartphone the right way: either download the iOS app or for Android users, bookmark the web app to your homescreen.
For Android please follow these steps:
Type my.sparksapp.io/sparks into your preferred browser.
Select the 3 vertical dots on the top right-hand side of your browser (Customise and control)
Then press "Add to Home Screen", then "Add". This will make the Sparks website a widget.
Navigate back to your home screen where a widget of the Sparks website will appear.
We advise that when sparking you leave the page open so that you can switch between your content and your Sparks account to copy any URL's that you want to spark from.
These 3 steps will set you up to start your journey to learning smarter with Sparks. If you need any help setting up or would like anything else from the Sparks team, please hit the chat button at the bottom and ask away!
